Many small businesses in Collie-Preston are feeling the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic due to the necessary social distancing measures that have been implemented to protect the health of our community.
The McGowan Government is doing everything it possibly can to support those regional businesses who are clearly facing enormous hardship.
I know many local businesses have been creative and adapted the way they do business in these times. However, I am devastated for those businesses who have had to close their doors.
Many local businesses have lots of questions to ask including what support the State Government is offering and how our local South West economy will recover.
This is why I am hosting a virtual meeting for local small businesses with Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan.
Thursday June 4, 4.00–5.00pm
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you have for the Minister.
To participate in the virtual meeting you will need to download the Zoom app onto a device which is able to connect to the internet. Further details of how to join the meeting will be provided once you have RSVP’d.
I look forward to seeing you all virtually and discussing local business issues.
