Small Business Grants to aid recovery

Further to our recent exciting announcement advising that the Collie Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) had received a $100,000 community investment grant from South32 Worsley Alumina, to support, develop and enhance local Collie small businesses post COVID-19. We write to advise you as a current member of the Collie Chamber of Commerce of the timeline and what the high-level process will be in relation to the Covid-19 Small Business Recovery Grants.

The COVID-19 Recovery grant for small businesses and associations supported by South32 is key element of the Collie Chamber roadmap to recovery strategy. This will assist small businesses who have been financially impacted by the COVID19 crisis and also help stimulate the economy and assist with reactivating businesses during and post Covid-19.

Applicants can apply for a one off grant of:

Existing members    –   from $1,000 – $5,000
New members          –   from $1,000 – $2,5,00

The total pool of grant funding is $50,000.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR GRANT SCHEME APPLICATIONS

APPLICATIONS OPEN: MONDAY, 27TH JULY 2020
APPLICATIONS CLOSE:  
FRIDAY, 7TH AUGUST 2020, AT 3PM.

PLEASE NOTE: NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

If your application is successful, you must complete all necessary paperwork within 5 working days to allow payment to occur week commencing 24 August 2020.
