A Fond Farewell to Bec Woods

Dear Members,
Hope you are all doing well amongst what has been the crazy that has been 2020 so far.  2020 has certainly thrown up some challenges and also an opportunity to reflect on what’s next for many of us either personally or from a business perspective.  In saying that our CEO Bec Woods has decided it is time for her next adventure and has decided to move on from the Chamber after 10 years.  It has been great to see Bec grow and develop in her role and I am sure you will join me  and  the whole executive in wishing Bec all the best in her future endeavours and am sure you will get the opportunity to say your own goodbyes over the coming weeks.  Bec will finish with the Chamber at the end of August.
So what next….?  The Chamber  is currently taking the opportunity to review and reflect on how we best serve our members and will be organising some member input sessions during September & October (more info to come on that in the next couple of weeks) to get your feedback on what you value and want from your Chamber and also share some new exciting offerings.  We are also taking the opportunity to look at our internal structure as part of this review, thus ensuring the Chamber sustainability to serve our members in the short, medium and long term. So we look forward to engaging with you all soon.
In the meantime it membership renewal time and with the generous support of South32 Worsley Alumina we are able to offer businesses who have been severely impacted by Covid19 a one off 50% membership fee reduction for 2020/2021 – all you have to do is opt in to get the 50% off ( more detailed communication will come out this week on this).
Kind Regards
Peter Harms
President – Collie Chamber
