Bookkeeping & Accounts Admin Assistant (Casual)
TLS BAS & Bookkeeping is a trusted provider of accurate, down-to-earth bookkeeping and payroll services for sole traders, tradies, and small business clients. We’re currently looking for a capable and motivated Bookkeeping & Accounts Admin Assistant to join our growing team.
This casual, in-office role is ideal for someone with a working knowledge of accounting software and reconciling accounts, who is looking for a flexible position with the potential for growth.
About the Role:
8 to 10 hours per week, with flexibility to suit school hours
Casual role with the potential to move into a part-time position with more hours for the right person
Based in our office – a friendly, supportive environment where accuracy and efficiency matter
Key Responsibilities:
Data entry and transaction processing in accounting software
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Preparing reports and supporting BAS preparation
General admin support and client communication
What We’re Looking For:
Some experience using accounting software (Xero preferred)
Understanding of reconciliation processes and GST
High attention to detail and good organisational skills
Confidence working with spreadsheets and cloud-based systems
A professional, reliable, and proactive attitude
Bonus (but not essential):
Cert III or IV in Bookkeeping or Business Administration (completed or in progress)
Previous exposure to small business environments
