GPH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Officer for a local mining role (DIDO) in the South West working a 42 hour week Monday – Friday. This is a ‘temp to perm’ opportuity for the right candidate.

This is a residential position and to be considered the successful applicant must have accommodation and live within commuting distance of Collie, Western Australia.

The successful candidate will ensure site environmental policies and programs are implemented.

Responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating data, application of environmental management obligations and commitments and other field-based activities such as feral animal eradication and weed management programs.

To be considered will you will need the following:

  • Tertiary degree in an environmental (or related) discipline
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Current WA Drivers License
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

Remuneration: $46.68 casual base plus $4.67 hourly bonus paid on all hours worked

Please note: the $51.35 advertised rate is $46.68 (based on a 42 hour week Monday – Friday) and the hourly bonus which is a temporary incentive. Please call our office for more information
