Smarter than Smoking SK8 RIDE SCooT 2020

The Shire of Collie with the support of Healthway are presenting a series of free skateboard, BMX and scooter workshops at the Collie Skate Park this school holidays.

The Smarter than Smoking SK8 RIDE SCooT 2020 workshops will be open to 6-16yr olds teaching skills, skatepark etiquette and safe skate practices over 5 workshops culminating in a community jam session on the last weekend of the holidays.

Children are welcome to attend as few or as many of the sessions as they wish. BYO board, BMX, scooter and helmet.

Workshop timetable:

  • Thursday, 9 January: 10am-1pm
  • Thursday, 16 January: 3-6pm
  • Saturday, 25 January: 3-6pm
  • Thursday, 30 January: 10am-1pm

Community Jam Saturday, 1 February, 3pm-6pm.
