Dee O’Brien has called Collie home for 12 years, moving with her husband Darren and their two daughters, Katy and Gemma. A long-time admirer of the town’s strong community spirit, she values its welcoming and supportive nature.

Dee has eight years of experience in the mining industry, specialising in community and stakeholder engagement and recently expanding into environmental reporting and compliance. She also brings a wealth of knowledge from previous roles with Federal, State, and Territory governments, where she developed expertise in legislative processes and community support.

Passionate about Collie’s future, Dee is committed to supporting its transition beyond coal and contributing her skills and insights to the Collie Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Management Committee.
