The role of Diesel Mechanic will see you working with our team at Muja and responsible for general Diesel Mechanic duties such as conducting minor and major repairs and servicing of plant and equipment and performing testing. Completing servicing and attending breakdowns of mobile plant fleet, checking fire suppression systems, performing administration tasks such as maintaining records and accurately and completing job card using SAP. All while ensuring all critical deadlines and priority work are met for both fixed and mobile plant.

What you will bring:

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate – Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Experience working with Cat & Komatsu bulldozers, tractors, skidsteers, loaders and LV trucks.
  • SIS Caterpillar knowledge
  • Confined Space & Working at Heights (within 2 years)
  • Valid Australian Driver’s License
  • White Card
  • High Risk Work Licence – LF & DG
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Live Local to the South West – within 100km’s of Collie
