About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals living with a range of disabilities. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others and is looking for a rewarding career in the disability sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance, including assistance with mobility, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

• Support individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities to achieve their personal goals.

• Implement and follow care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.

• Promote independence and dignity while ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

• Assist with community engagement and social activities.

• Provide emotional support and encourage positive mental health.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Certificate 3 in Disability or equivalent qualification (or willingness to obtain).

• Experience in the disability support sector (preferred but not essential).

• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with strong communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transport

• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

• National Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

• NDIS screening clearance
