What you’ll do
- Proactively maintain a safe working environment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular HSEQ inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and compliance within regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement HSEQ policies and procedures to promote a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.
- Coordinate training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of HSEQ standards and requirements.
- Provide advice and guidance to site personnel with statutory compliance and HSE deliverables.
- Maintain the HSE risk register and hazard management plan.
- Participate in pre-starts and deliver site inductions and targeted training.
- Maintain a training register to ensure training and qualifications are current.
- Monitor HSEQ performance through data analysis and prepare reports for management review.
What you’ll have
- Previous HSE experience within the Power Generation (or similar) sector
- Relevant qualifications in OH+S or related discipline
- TAE Cert IV preferrable
- In-depth knowledge of HSEQ regulations and standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HSEQ management systems
- ICAM or TAPROOT experience
- Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
