OHS Co-Ordinator (Compliance)

GPH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced OHS Co-Ordinator (Compliance) for a local mining role (DIDO) in the South West working a 43.72 hour week 7&7 Day Shift family friendly roster. Temporary as per site requirements (possibility for permanent engagement in future).

This is a residential position and to be considered the successful applicant must have accommodation and live within commuting distance of Collie, Western Australia.

Reporting to the OHS Superintendent, the OHS Co-ordinator will be responsible for monitoring safety compliance, proactively promoting hazard awareness and controlling risk throughout the operation.

To be considered the following is essential:

• A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
• A demonstrated work history within occupational health and safety including management and leadership of others.
• 3- 5 years� experience in heavy industry, mining, or environment.
• The ability to understand and interpret occupational health and safety legislation and educate others.

Remuneration: $62.00 per hour casual base.
