GPH Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Shot Firer’s for local open cut mining roles (DIDO) in the South West, WA for an immediate start.

These are a ‘temp to perm’ opportunity working a family friendly 4&4 even time Day Shift ONLY roster. To be considered the successful applicant must have accommodation and live within commuting (1 hour) distance of Collie, Western Australia.

Candidates will need to have the following:

  • Current WA Shot Firers License (essential)
  • Current WA Drivers License (C Class)
  • Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (essential)
  • Previous experience working in an open pit as a Shot Firer
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

Remuneration: $57.94 casual base plus $12.06 hourly bonus paid on all hours worked

Please note: the $70.00 advertised rate is $57.94 (based on 12 hour day shifts) and the hourly bonus which is a temporary incentive. Please call our office for more information.
