Role:

Jones Welding Solutions are recruiting for a Level 1 Rope Access Coded Welder/Pipefitter. We have a long-term contract for ongoing maintenance and shutdown works servicing South 32 refinery in the Southwest region.

  • Sportsman Roster: 5on 5off / 4on 4off
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Dayshift only
  • Immediate start required

We are looking for individuals with refinery and fixed plant experience who thrive on working in team environments and developing collectively.

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Current IRATA qualification
  • Valid Driving License
  • Boilermaker Trade qualification with Pipefitting Experience
  • Able to Pass Weld Test
  • Working at Heights (within 2 years)
  • Confined Space (within 2 years)
  • Construction Induction Card (White or Blue card)
  • Rigging and Forklift tickets would be beneficial
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and site medical testing

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct rope access works, ensuring projects run smoothly and according to scope
  • Rope access equipment fitting and pre-use checks
  • Liaising with the Site Manager/Supervisor regarding any issues
  • Maintaining all equipment
