GRIFFIN COAL

The Griffin Coal Mining Company is seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join our maintenance team.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will carry out work in accordance with site tyre management and tracking system (including monitoring and condition reporting) for various mobile equipment.

EXPERIENCE

The preferred candidate will have:

·         Certificate II in Heavy Tyre Fitting

·         Experience in tyre fitting heavy earthmoving equipment;

·         Forklift Licence (essential);

·         Dogging Licence (essential);

·         Basic Rigging Licence (advantageous);

·         Confined Spaces and Working at Heights Certification; and

·         Valid WA “C” class driver’s licence

THE LOCATION & LIFESTYLE

Griffin Coal Mine is located near Collie, a town which is located 45 minutes from the coastal city of Bunbury and 2.5 hours from the capital city of Perth, Western Australia. This is a residential role and as such no relocation package is being offered.
