AVAILABLE TO IMPACTED BUSINESSES
IN THE SOUTH WEST.

The Western Australian Government has announced another round of targeted Small Business Lockdown Assistance Grants to assist small businesses most effected by the recent snap lockdown in the Perth and Peel region.

Small businesses in WA, including regional areas, will be able to apply for a $3,000 grant to assist with any financial loss as a result of the lockdown.

Full eligibility criteria and terms and conditions apply however,
these details are currently being finalised.

The initial announcement from the State Government indicated that support
will be offered to businesses who meet the following criteria:

  • Are located in regional WA (i.e. not just Perth and Peel regions).
  • Incurred direct costs or lost more than 30 per cent of revenue due to the restrictions.
  • Are able to prove losses incurred for perishable goods, cancellations or other unforeseen costs as a result of the lockdown.
  • Have an Australia-wide payroll of less than $4 million and are registered for GST purposes.
With the State Government committing $41.5 million to this new scheme,
more than 2,300 businesses in regional WA could be eligible for these grants.We understand that regional businesses continue to face a tough road ahead as a result of COVID-19 and it’s impact on the world. Although these grants may
not necessarily cover the total loss incurred by the recent lockdown,
we believe this new avenue of assistance will be welcomed by all.We would like to thank you all for your dedication and resilience
