CCCI Collie Trails Retreat Business Connections

The Collie Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is proud to present the latest edition of our Business Connections series, made possible by funding from Workforce Australia Local Jobs South West, through the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. This event offered an exclusive opportunity to explore the exciting new developments at Collie Trails Retreat, a family-run campground that perfectly blends adventure and relaxation in the heart of Western Australia.

Located just a short drive from Collie, Western Australia, Collie Trails Retreat is a family-run campground that combines adventure with relaxation. The retreat offers 19 short-term, nature based campsites and is set to open eight fully accessible, disability-friendly cabins in July. Nestled on picturesque farmland within the Harris River State Forest, the retreat provides access to some of the region's most popular outdoor trails, including the Bibbulmun Track, the Munda Biddi Mountain Bike Trail, and the Arklow Trail Network.

During the recent CCCI Collie Trails Retreat Business Connections event, attendees were given the exclusive opportunity to tour the retreat's new facilities, which are still in production but designed with comfort and accessibility in mind. The soon-to-open cabins feature a verandah, a small
kitchen area, a queen-size bed, a TV, and disability-standard ensuites – ensuring that guests have a comfortable and accessible stay. The retreat’s camp kitchen, perfect for social gatherings, offers free gas barbecues and plenty of space for group cookouts, making it a great place to meet and
mingle. For those who prefer the outdoors, the spacious 48m² campsites can accommodate one car and a large tent or camper, with nearby shower and toilet blocks providing added convenience. With a focus on comfort and accessibility, Collie Trails Retreat promises a welcoming environment for all guests.
