With extensive experience teaching and tutoring primary and secondary school students I have assisted children from many different backgrounds to become more confident and successful learners. Using a strengths-based approach I identify gaps in knowledge and understanding, develop engaging learning plans and individualise each tutoring session.
It is my belief that earning should be fun, connect with each child’s interests and occur within a safe learning environment. One-on-one tutoring provides an opportunity for your child to learn at their own pace and in a way that suits their individual learning style. At Collie Tutoring I deliver an affordable tutoring service to meet the individual learning needs of children within primary school and high school. All tutoring completed at Unit 10/13 Forrest St (Collie Chamber of Commerce) at a rate of $40 an hour.
Senior school students may benefit from completing one of my Saturday morning Study Skills or Exam Preparation workshops. These workshops are held on Saturdays 10:00am to 1:00pm when 4 -8 students enrol. At $40 per student these represent excellent value and prepare students for the study required to be successful in Year 11 and 12.
