CCCI Mystical Presents Business Connections

The Collie Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) was delighted to host another successful Business Connections event, celebrating five years in business with Mystical Presents. Made possible by funding from Workforce Australia Local Jobs South West, an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, the evening was one of learning, connection, and celebration, perfectly embodying the spirit of community collaboration.

Owned by local couple Julie and Rex, Mystical Presents has become a beloved fixture in Collie’s retail landscape. Over the past five years, they have transformed their vision into more than just a retail space. It’s a welcoming place where people come to browse, chat, reflect, and find something truly meaningful. From mythical creatures and magical herbs to organic teas, incense, crystals, and now fresh flowers, this vibrant and eclectic store celebrates creativity, healing, and connection. Offering services such as Reiki and Tarot alongside thoughtful products for every stage of life, including farewells for beloved pets. Mystical Presents has built a loyal customer base through its unique atmosphere and experience, demonstrating how a niche retail business can thrive in a regional town.

Attendees gained valuable insights into building customer loyalty through meaningful engagement, exploring the balance between business success and community wellbeing. The intimate setting fostered inclusive conversations where everyone mingled freely, creating an atmosphere that was both informative and genuinely friendly.

As part of CCCI’s commitment to fostering economic growth, Business Connections continues to offer a unique opportunity for local businesses to network, exchange knowledge, and explore collaborations that drive Collie’s prosperity.

Shamara Williams – Volunteer South West

Shamara delivered an inspiring presentation on the importance of belonging and community connection. Both speakers beautifully complemented the evening’s theme, emphasising the power of working together to achieve the best outcomes for our communities and highlighting the benefits of group achievement and a shared sense of belonging.

The event attracted business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, and community members curious about ways to contribute to Collie’s future. The relaxed and inclusive atmosphere ensured no one was left out, with meaningful conversations flowing naturally throughout the evening.
